In-Home Lactation Consultation (IBCLC)

Breastfeeding is natural, but it isn’t always intuitive—and you don’t have to figure it out alone. An in-home visit brings a skilled IBCLC to your space for calm, hands-on support that centers you, your baby, and your goals. Our consultants combine evidence-based care with lived experience supporting Bay Area families.

Perfect for:

  • Painful latch, nipple damage, or breast/chest pain

  • Concerns about milk supply, engorgement, or plugged ducts

  • Pumping plans for return-to-work or exclusive pumping

  • Bottle introduction, paced feeding, or flow/preference concerns

  • Twins or multiples, Cesarean recovery, and special circumstances

  • Questions about oral function or suck coordination (with referrals as needed)

Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Support

Sometimes what you need most is a trusted Breast Friend—someone who’s been there, who listens without judgment, and who can share practical, day-to-day tips. Our Peer Counselors are experienced breastfeeding parents who reflect our community and are trained to provide encouragement, information, and referrals.

How Peer Counselors help:
